The NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S is a portable, full-frame super-telephoto zoom lens for wildlife and sports photographers. Equipped with Inner Balance technology and two separate AF drive units to deliver fast and accurate focusing throughout the zoom range and maintain stability when tracking moving subjects. The up to 5.5 stops Vibration Reduction image stabilization enable handheld shooting in low-light situations. Featuring two Super ED and six ED glass elements, with ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coats, the unit offers high sharpness and accurate color rendering images.

Excellent lens extremely sharp and very quick to focus, even in dull lighting conditions.
Firstly let me say firstly Cotsworldcameras are first class, for service and are excellent communicators. Now the Lens - this is the second Z lens I've purchased, and I'm a Press Photographer with a National Newspaper so quality and speed are essential. I've hand held the Nikon Z 100mm - 400mm at 1/80 panning (racing car) and I've got crystal sharp images, and I've use it on stage at a cookery demo at 1/60 and I can say WOW sharp and very quick to focus I'm delighted with the lens, I did look at the Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 but its too slow the 100 - 400 is just the right fit its very well built. I used it on my Z9.
