I used to juggle between four lenses (18–50mm, and 11mm/35mm/56mm primes), but I decided to invest a bit more in an all-round lens that I could take to any occasion. I wanted the best of the best, and this one is definitely it, razor-sharp images, fantastic for video, and an absolute joy to use. I’m completely in love with this lens.

It’s really sharp across the whole zoom range and the autofocus is spot on. Feels a lot lighter than the first version which makes a big difference when shooting all day. Great for everything from portraits to events. Proper bit of kit.

This lens is simply fantastic. The sharpness and colour accuracy are spot on from edge to edge. Autofocus is quick and silent which makes shooting really smooth. It’s a bit on the pricey side but well worth it for the quality you get. Perfect for everything from portraits to landscapes.
